Kiersten ‘Kicks’ Willis began dancing in 8th grade performing Hip Hop. Due to her love of dance, she expanded her dance education throughout high school and college. Kiersten attended Mesa Community College and was a member of their dance company for 4 years. Wanting to pursue a professional career in dance, Kiersten auditioned for the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury Hip Hop Squad and has been a member of the squad for 4 seasons. Kiersten also has been a member of the NBA Phoenix Suns’ Solar Squad for the past 3 seasons. In addition to her experience on pro dance teams, Kiersten’s professional dance and choreography credits include the Just Dance 3 commercial, choreographing for Canadian pop artist Kreesha Turner, Epik Dance Company, several television promotions, local fashion show and concert performances.


In addition to performing, Kiersten has a passion for teaching. She teaches at several dance studios, youth ministries and after school programs. She was also co-director for the Phoenix Suns SunDance Kids for 2 seasons. Kiersten absolutely loves working with youth and aspires to one day found a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the arts programs.


Kiersten graduated from Mesa Community College with an Associate Fine Arts in Dance and Psychology. She also graduated from ASU with a BA in Arts Administration.
