Privacy Agreement

The Choreography Pros website values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our policy regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information (full name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, or payment method), that Users voluntarily provide to Choreography Pros when they register. By using or accessing the Choreography Pros website (the “Site”) or the Choreography Pros services (the “Services”), you (the “User”) are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

This policy may change as we update and expand our services. If there is a change to the Privacy Policy, we will post the changes on this page and will indicate at the bottom of this page the date of last revision. Your use of the Services or Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy. Therefore it is important that you review this Privacy Policy regularly to ensure you are updated as to any changes. By using the Services and Site, you are consenting to have your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States.

1. Collection of Personal Information

We collect information from you when you register on the Choreography Pros website, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form or posts comments or information.  However, you may also visit our Site anonymously.

Additionally, Choreography Pros collects other non-Personal Information including IP address, aggregate user data, and browser type. This information is gathered for all Choreography Pros visitors. In addition, we store certain information from your browser using “cookies” (small pieces of data stored on the User’s computer tied to information about the User.) We use session ID cookies to confirm that Users are logged in. These cookies terminate once the User closes the browser. By default, we use a persistent cookie that stores your login ID (but not your password) to make it easier for you to login when you come back to the Site.

You can program your computer to warn you each time a cookie is being sent, remove or block all cookies. However, in some cases doing so may impact your access to features of the Services.

You post User content (defined in the Choreography Pros Terms of Service) on the Site at your own risk. Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you may choose to share your information. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that User content you post on the Site will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of User content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored your User Content.

Any improper collection or misuse of information provided on Choreography Pros is a violation of the Choreography Pros Terms of Service and should be reported to Choreography Pros.com via our contact us page.

2. Under Age

2.1. Children under the Age of 13

If you are under the age of 13, please do not attempt to register or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address to the Choreography Pros website. Choreography Pros does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child that is under 13, please contact us via our contact us page.

2.2. Minors under 18

Choreography Pros website is intended for the use of adults 18 years and older due to the music content and dance moves.  If Choreography Pros reserves the right to terminate membership if it believes that you are under 18 years of age and misrepresented yourself in order to gain access to ChoreographyPros.Com. Parents and legal guardians are responsible for the protection of their children’s privacy and the content they view.

3. Use of Information Obtained by Choreography Pros

When you register or re-register with Choreography Pros, you create your own profile and privacy settings.  Certain profile information may be displayed to other Users of the Choreography Pros website.

Profile information is used by Choreography Pros primarily to be presented back to and edited by you when you access the service and to be presented to others permitted to view that information by your privacy settings. In some cases where your privacy settings permit it (e.g., comment wall, personal blog), other Choreography Pros users may be able to supplement your profile.

Profile information you submit to Choreography Pros will be available to users of Choreography Pros who you allowed to access the information through your privacy settings (private view). Your name, user name, and posts will be available in search results across the Choreography Pros network and those limited pieces of information may be made available to third party search engines.  People who see your name in searches, however, will not be able to access your entire profile information as set in your private/public view settings.

We also use your e-mail address to send you newsletters, as well as messages about Choreography Pros special offers, consumer surveys and other service-related announcements. Occasionally, we may send these materials to you via postal mail, using the shipping address provided. If you no longer want to receive the newsletters, other announcements, simply access the Email Subscriptions page in your User profile and uncheck those items to unsubscribe. Please note that you cannot unsubscribe from certain correspondence from us, including messages relating to your account transactions.

We keep track of your interactions with us, including but not limited to your site activity, payment history and correspondence. We use this information for such purposes as personalizing the site to better reflect particular interests, tracking your viewing hours, helping us quickly and efficiently respond to inquiries and requests and otherwise enhancing our service offering for our customers.

While using the Services and Website, you will have opportunities to post reviews or other personal information in public forums. Please understand that when you post such information, it is made public and is not subject to this policy.

4. Sharing Your Information with Third Parties

4.1. Disclosure of Personal Information

Except as otherwise disclosed to you, we will not sell, rent or disclose your personal information to third parties without notifying you of our intent to share the personal information in advance and giving you an opportunity to prevent your personal information from being shared. We share your information with third parties only in limited circumstances where we believe such sharing is 1) reasonably necessary to offer the service, 2) legally required or, 3) permitted by you.

We use other companies, agents or contractors to perform services on our behalf. For example, we have partnered with other companies to personalize and optimize our Web pages, process credit card transactions, collect debts, analyze and enhance data, including customers’ interaction with our site, and process consumer surveys. We also provide postal addresses to the U.S. Post Office for delivery purposes. In the course of providing such services, these other companies may have access to your personal information. These companies are not permitted to use your personal information except for the purpose of providing the services we request of them.

We may be required to disclose user information pursuant to lawful requests, such as subpoenas or court orders, or in compliance with applicable laws. Additionally, we may share account or other information when we believe it is necessary to comply with law, to protect our interests or property, to prevent fraud or other illegal activity perpetrated through the Services or using the Choreography Pros name, or to prevent imminent bodily harm. This may include sharing information with other companies, lawyers, agents or government agencies.

If the ownership of all or substantially all of the Choreography Pros business, or individual business units owned by Choreography Pros LLC., were to change, your user information may be transferred to the new owner so the service can continue operations. In any such transfer of information, your user information would remain subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Policy.

When you use Choreography Pros, certain information you post or share with third parties such as personal information, comments, messages, photos, videos, or other information, may be shared with other users in accordance with the privacy settings you select. All such sharing of information is done at your own risk. Please keep in mind that if you disclose personal information in your profile or when posting comments, messages, photos, videos or other items, this information may become publicly available.

4.2. Links

The Site contains links to sites operated by third parties whose policies regarding the handling of personal information may differ from ours. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by Choreography Pros.

4.3. Third Party Advertising

Advertisements that appear on the Site are sometimes delivered (or “served”) directly to users by third party advertisers. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. These third party advertisers may also download cookies to your computer, or use other technologies such as JavaScript and “web beacons” (also known as “1×1 gifs”) to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. Doing this allows the advertising network to recognize your computer each time they send you an advertisement in order to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. In this way, they may compile information about where individuals using your computer or browser saw their advertisements and determine which advertisements are clicked. Choreography Pros does not have access to or control of the cookies that may be placed by the third party advertisers. Third party advertisers have no access to your contact information stored on Choreography Pros unless you choose to share it with them.

This privacy policy covers the use of cookies by Choreography Pros and does not cover the use of cookies or other tracking technologies by any of its advertisers.

5. Changing or Removing Information

Access and control over most personal information on Choreography Pros is readily available through the profile editing tools. Choreography Pros Users may modify or delete any of their profile information at any time by logging into their account. Information will be updated immediately. Users who wish to deactivate their Choreography Pros membership may do so on their User profile. Removed information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time but will not be generally available to members of Choreography Pros.

Where you make use of the communication features of the service to share information with other individuals on Choreography Pros, however, (e.g., sending a personal message to another Choreography Pros user) you generally cannot remove such communications.

You are responsible for updating and maintaining the truth and accuracy of the personal information you provide to Choreography Pros relating to your account. If you want to update your contact information, you should do so by visiting your Account section of the Site. You must be signed in to access your Account. You can also make changes to your account program, as well as e-mail subscriptions preferences, by going to the your User profile.

6. Security

Choreography Pros takes information security very seriously and uses reasonable administrative, technical and managerial measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access. For example, we utilize Secure Sockets Layering, an industry-standard protocol for certain of your transmissions to us, in order to encrypt the personal information that you send to us through the registration and sign up process. We store your email address in an encrypted form.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for restricting access to your computer or mobile device through which you access your Choreography Pros account. Users of public or shared computers or unprotected mobile devices should log out at the completion of each visit to the Site.

Unfortunately, no security system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information and cannot assume liability for improper access to it. By using the Site, or providing personal information to us through any means, you agree that we can communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of this site.

7. Terms of Service, Notices and Revisions

Your use of Choreography Pros, and any disputes arising from it, is subject to this Privacy Policy as well as our and all of its dispute resolution provisions including arbitration, limitation on damages and choice of law. We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service at any time. Non-material changes and clarifications will take effect immediately, and material changes will take effect within 30 days of their posting on this site. If we make changes, we will post them and will indicate at the top of this page the policy’s new effective date. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, by email, or through notice on our home page. We encourage you to refer to this policy on an ongoing basis so that you understand our current privacy policy. Unless stated otherwise, our current privacy policy applies to all information that we have about you and your account.
